Qualifications

• Associate's degree or graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current NJ RN license or multi-state licensure.
• TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale, ACLS and PALS certifications desired or must be obtained within stated timeframes.
• CPR/BLS required.
• Strong assessment, planning and discharge planning capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality care to patients through the nursing process.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Assist with pain management and comfort measures for patients and families.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document care and discharge plans clearly and accurately.
• Participate in performance improvement and Joint Commission readiness.
