3M HEALTHCARE is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Inpatient Cardiology team. The role provides comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care to adults with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions in an inpatient setting.

The RN collaborates with physicians and the care team, performs assessments, monitors rhythms, administers meds, documents in the EMR, and supports discharge planning and patient education.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Connecticut.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Aufgaben

• Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care to inpatient cardiology patients.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, labs, and patient status.
• Administer medications and treatments per provider orders and protocols.
• Respond promptly to changes in condition, rapid responses, and cardiac emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, procedures, and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Support quality, safety, and patient satisfaction initiatives.
