Job summary

UCHealth Medical Group and the Heart and Vascular team in Loveland, CO, seek a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for a full-time cardiology position. The role emphasizes excellent patient care within a collaborative team of 46 physicians and 20+ APPs, and uses Epic EMR system.

Visa sponsorship is not available. Qualifications include 2-3 years Critical Care or ICU experience, cardiology experience preferred, and required PA-C or NP credentials with licensure in Colorado.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies is required.
• NCCPA PA-C certification is required for hire and must be maintained.
• DEA permit to prescribe medications.
• Unrestricted DEA license to prescribe.
• Unrestricted medical staff membership with practice privileges.
• Prescriptive authority as appropriate per privileging.
• BLS certification required by AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality cardiology care to patients.
• Collaborate with a large team of physicians and APPs.
• Work full-time in an Epic EMR environment.
• Maintain licensure, certifications and Medicare/Medicaid provider status.
