Job summary

McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, SC seeks a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible General Cardiologist for an inpatient-only cardio-hospitalist role with a 7 on/7 off schedule. You will manage the inpatient service and work closely with residents and advanced practitioners in a thriving community teaching environment.

Academic appointment to USC Floyd School of Medicine is encouraged but optional. Echocardiography and TEEs competency are preferred as the team provides comprehensive

Cardiology Hospitalist opportunity available with a growing private non-profit healthcare system in SC!

McLeod Cardiology Associates is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible General Cardiologist to join our growing team at McLeod Regional Medical Center, a 517-bed tertiary care center and the flagship hospital of McLeod Health in Florence, South Carolina. This opportunity is a unique inpatient only cardio-hospitalist position with a 7 on/7 off schedule. The cardio-hospitalist Physician will manage the cardiology inpatient service working closely with residents and advanced practitioners. This Physician will join a collaborative group of 13 cardiologists within a well-established heart program, providing comprehensive cardiovascular care while helping to shape the next generation of physicians through bedside teaching, didactics, and mentorship for residents in a thriving community teaching environment. Academic appointment to the University of South Carolina Floyd School of Medicine is encouraged but optional. Board certification in echocardiography and competency in TEEs preferred. This position offers a competitive base salary guarantee with productivity incentives and the benefit of working every other week.
