Job summary

Beloit Health System's Device Checks Clinic within Cardiovascular Services seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to support implanted cardiac devices, provide expert assessments, patient education, and ongoing support.

This full-time role, 40 hours weekly on 1st shift (8a-5p), involves assisting providers, managing calls, administering medications, and maintaining infection control; prior device knowledge helpful, training offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• State of Wisconsin nursing licensure or compact license; temporary permit may be required.
• CPR certification within 3 months of hire.
• Knowledge of implanted cardiac devices is helpful, but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with procedures and nursing care.
• Navigate and operate department computer software applications.
• Handle incoming calls to the department and triage patient needs.
• Administer medications and monitor patient status.
• Assist with placement, education, and monitoring of cardiac devices; maintain infection control.
