Job summary

Lifepoint Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for the Cardiology clinic at UP Health System - Marquette. This part-time role (Wed, Thu, Fri days) supports direct patient care and clinic operations.

As a CMA or RMA with a high school diploma and BLS-HCP, you will join a fast-paced team that values compassion, teamwork and quality care. Experience in a clinic setting is preferred, with ongoing opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of clinic experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and individualized care to clinic patients.
• Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection; monitors and communicates changes in patient condition; documents patient care.
• Maintains equipment and medical supplies; reorders, stocks, cleans and troubleshoots; maintains exam areas.
• Performs administrative or clerical duties including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
