Job summary

The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Cardiology, seeks full-time Clinical Associates for renewable terms up to three years. These roles focus on outpatient cardiology and consultation across Chicagoland locations, with optional inpatient duties at Hyde Park campus.

Applicants read EKGs, perform exercise stress testing, and interpret echocardiograms. Teaching and scholarly activities are available but not required.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent medical doctorate.
• Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in Illinois.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology.

Responsibilities

• Read EKGs and interpret exercise stress tests.
• Read/interpret echocardiograms.
• Outpatient cardiology practice and consultations at Chicagoland locations.
• Occasional inpatient consultation at the University of Chicago Medical Center (Hyde Park).
• Teaching and scholarly activities available but not required.
