Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our outpatient Cardiology clinic in Billings, Montana. The nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in coordination with physicians and the health team in an ambulatory setting.

Qualified candidates will have an accredited nursing degree, an active RN license, BLS/ACLS and at least 1 year of clinic or acute hospital nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform general nursing care following established standards.
• Get patient consent and document health history and vital signs.
• Assess and document health status and risk factors; provide care per guidelines.
• Administer medications and monitor treatment progress with physician consultation.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease management.
• Document data using medical records systems and forms.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve care and outcomes.
• Track quality assurance data for chronic and acute care management.
