Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Waco, TX, is seeking a Clinic Registered Nurse to coordinate patient care in Cardiology. You will assess patients, develop care plans, monitor responses, and guide families to safer, faster recovery, while ensuring a safe healthcare experience.

You will collaborate with physicians and staff, support quality improvement initiatives, and educate patients and communities about health care resources, applying systems-thinking to solve problems.

Qualifications

Graduate of an Accredited Program (RN)
License Registered Nurse valid in Texas
BLS certification required, obtained within 30 days if not present

Responsibilities

Prioritize patient needs and plan care; modify as needed to meet outcomes.
Support quality improvement initiatives through active participation.
Build relationships with patients and families, addressing pain and promoting relief.
Educate patients, families, staff, and community about health care resources.
Collaborate with colleagues to create individualized care plans.
Apply systems-thinking to problem-solve for patients, families, and staff.
