Job summary

Vibra Travels LLC seeks a Cath Lab Tech/Interventional Radiology Tech to join our nationwide travel program. You will support interventional procedures in hospital settings, scrub for cardiac cath, operate fluoroscopy and imaging equipment, and ensure patient safety.

Must have ARRT, CRT, state license, and 2+ years of acute care experience. We offer assignments across the country with travel stipends, recruiter continuity, and license reimbursement where allowed.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT required.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) required.
• Active radiology license in the state of employment.
• Two years of recent experience.
• State fluoroscopy license where applicable.
• Current driver's license and ability to travel.
• Acute care/LTAC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for procedures with radiation protection in mind.
• Operate imaging equipment (fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound) to obtain quality images.
• Assist during interventional procedures with sterile environment and instruments.
• Prepare and administer contrast media under physician direction.
• Evaluate images and archive in PACS; monitor patients during procedures.

VIBRA TRAVELS is seeking a Cath Lab Tech/Interventional Radiology Tech to join our expanding network of healthcare professionals. We’re looking for dependable, detail-focused interventional radiology techs with experience in hospital settings. Minimum Qualifications:

• Current ARRT required.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) required
• Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Radiology Tech in the state of employment required.
• Two (2) years of recent experience required.
• State Fluoroscopy license required where applicable.
• Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation
• Recent acute care experience for acute care and LTAC placements

Certificates, Licensures, Registrations:

• Current ARRT required.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) required
• Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Radiology Tech in the state of employment required.
• CurrentBLScertification fromaVibra Travles-approved vendor required, AHA preferred and required by some clients.
• ACLS may be required by some clients.
• Minimum of 1 year experience scrubbing for cardiac cath procedures
• State Fluoroscopy license required where applicable.

Additional Qualifications/Skills:

• Patient Preparation and Positioning: Accurately position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety while adhering to radiation protection protocols.
• Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, CT scanners, and ultrasound machines, to obtain high-quality images.
• Assistance During Procedures: Assist physicians during interventional procedures by providing necessary instruments and supplies, and by maintaining a sterile environment.
• Contrast Media Administration: Prepare and administer contrast media under the direction of a physician, following established protocols.
• Image Evaluation and Archiving: Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure proper archiving in the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)
• Patient Monitoring: Monitor patients during procedures, observing for any complications or unusual events, and report findings to the physician.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to remain calm and efficient in high-stress, emergent situations
• Familiarity with common cath lab and IR imaging systems
• Detail-oriented and organized
