Job summary
UT Health San Antonio is seeking Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant candidates to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care for adults in inpatient and outpatient settings. The role involves collaboration with cardiologists and the broader healthcare team to support imaging, testing, and direct patient management.

Qualifications
- NP candidates must hold an active Texas APRN license and national certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
- MSN required; DNP preferred for NP track.
- PA candidates must have completed an accredited PA program and hold a Texas PA license.
- Cardiology-specific clinical experience or training is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care to adult patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Support inpatient cardiology services at MSRH and assist with cardiovascular imaging and diagnostic testing.
- Provide direct patient care and manage cardiovascular conditions across clinics.
- Coordinate diagnostic testing and follow-up care; participate in inpatient consultations and clinical management.
- Collaborate with supervising physicians to support operations, access, and continuity of care.
- Contribute to education/training of students, residents, and fellows and participate in quality-improvement initiatives.
