Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner (APN) with cardiology focus.
• Prescriptive authority and independent practice per state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Independently manages a panel of cardiology patients with heart failure and related conditions.
• Provides advanced clinical practice, consultation, and management.
• Orders and interprets labs and diagnostic studies.
• Prescribes pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions.
• Initiates referrals to specialty services and educates patients and families.
• Demonstrates leadership and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team.
