Job summary

Geisinger's Heart & Vascular Surgery Institute in Lewistown, PA is seeking a full-time physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our growing cardiology practice in the Western Region. The Advanced Practitioner will split time between outpatient clinic duties in Lewistown and inpatient consultations at the base hospital.

The role carries no on-call obligation with rotating weekend coverage, and a 10-hour-day option may be available.

Qualifications

• PA: Bachelor's Degree required; Master's preferred.
• NCCPA certification or eligibility is required for the PA track.
• PA licensure in Pennsylvania is required.
• NP track requires NP program certificate or eligibility for national certification and PA licensure in PA.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient clinic care in Lewistown and inpatient consultations.
• No-call requirement with rotating weekend coverage.
• Option for 10-hour day schedules.
