Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island is seeking an Ambulatory Care Nurse in Cardiology to support coordination, integration, and evaluation of nursing practice and clinical policies. You will participate in quality initiatives, collect patient data, and collaborate with providers to develop patient-centered care plans that guide interventions for expected outcomes.

The role involves administering medications, wound care, triage, and patient education, while ensuring compliance with NYULH standards

Qualifications

• Current NYS Registered Nurse in good standing.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; ADN may be approved contingent upon Nursing Leadership.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
• ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
• Records information in electronic health record.
• Administers medications and provides triage for clinical concerns.
• Collaborates with licensed providers to develop patient-centered care plans.
• Directs and delegates tasks to licensed practical nurses and medical assistants.
