Job summary
RWJBarnabas Health in Monmouth Heart & Vascular is seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant to diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic heart diseases in collaboration with attending cardiologists. You will perform comprehensive exams, order and interpret diagnostics, and participate in patient care across outpatient clinics, hospital wards, and ICU settings.

Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate in Nursing Practice or Physician Assistant
- Active state license and board certification (ANCC/AANP or NCCPA)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive history and physical exams for cardiac patients.
- Order, track, and interpret labs, EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests.
- Prescribe and adjust cardiovascular medications under protocols.
- Coordinate patient care across ambulatory and inpatient settings.
- Educate patients on heart-healthy lifestyles and disease self-management.
- Facilitate transitions of care and multidisciplinary communication
