Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a Board Certified Cardiologist to provide locums coverage at two nearby cardiology clinics in Michigan. The assignment starts ASAP (pending credentialing) for 3 months with extension possible, 4–5 days per week, 8A–5P, no call, with about 16 adult patients per day.

MD/DO must hold Michigan license, CSR and Federal DEA with MI address. Onsite MA, nursing via telehealth, APPs; supervision of stress tests and reading echo studies.

Job description

We are seeking a Doctor of Medicine (MD) to work at one of our partner facilities.

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a Board Certified Cardiologist to provide locums coverage at 2 cardiology clinics only minutes apart.

Location

On the eastern shores of Lake Michigan, only 30 minutes from Grand Rapids and an hour from Kalamazoo.

Specialty

Non-Invasive Cardiology.

Dates

ASAP (pending credentialing) for 3 months assignment with possible extension.

Schedule

4-5 days per week; 8A-5P; no Call or Weekends.

Patients

Approximately 16 patients per day; All Adult.

Office Support

MA onsite, Nursing (Virtual visits), APPs, 1 MD/DO coverage: 4-5 days per week. Approximately 16 patients per day.

Responsibilities

• Supervising stress tests and reading echo studies.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Cardiology.
• Michigan license.
