Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a physician to provide comprehensive medical services in general care within both practice and hospital settings.

The role includes performing histories and physicals, delivering evidence-based care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school and completion of residency and/or fellowship in area of specialty.
• MD or DO - licensed by the state licensure board within the State of practice.
• Board Certified/Eligible in the area of specialty by the appropriate medical board.

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical examination of all patients seen.
• Provide cost-effective, high-quality care based on best practice evidenced based medicine.
• Make best efforts to adhere to standardized orders and practice guidelines that have been approved by the medical staff.
• Demonstrates competency in assessment and treatment appropriate to the patient age.
• Coordinates patient care and makes referrals to physicians, nurses, psychologists, nutritionists, et cetera, as needed.
• Teaches wellness habits and educates patients on prevention of health problems.
