Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs' Eastern Kansas Health Care System seeks a Cardiologist to provide comprehensive cardiac care at the Leavenworth campus. You will conduct exams, establish treatment plans, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team in a full-time capacity.

Applicants should have an MD, unrestricted license, cardiology residency, and board certification eligibility. Strong clinical judgement and patient-centered care are essential.

Qualifications

• MD required with a full, unrestricted medical license in the US (or territory)
• Board eligible/certified in Cardiology preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage complex cardiovascular cases
• Experience delivering comprehensive cardiac care and patient education

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive cardiology care to Veterans at EKHCS-Leavenworth
• Perform exams, order and interpret tests, develop treatment plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and ensure DOE quality standards
