Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school or osteopathic medical school.
• Board certified or eligible in Cardiology.
• Current active DEA licensure or ability to obtain post-hire.
• Current Mass DPH Controlled Substances Registration or ability to obtain post-hire.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical assessments on patients with specialized cardiac conditions.
• Develops and implements plans of care, prescribes medications and tests including echocardiography and stress testing.
• Collaborates with clinical and administrative teams to manage patient care and continuity of care.
• Acts as liaison between primary care and specialists to coordinate patient care.
• Teaches and counsels patients and participates in health education programs.
