Job summary

AccessHealth in Texas is seeking a fellowship-trained General Cardiologist to join the Cardiovascular Services team. The role includes office-based practice, hospital rounds, and collaboration on catheterization with interventional/cardiothoracic teams.

The candidate should have board certification or be eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and possess skills in non-invasive imaging such as echocardiography, stress testing, nuclear medicine, and vascular ultrasound.

Job description

Position: General Cardiologist

Seeking a fellowship-trained, BC/BE Cardiovascular Disease specialist to join the Cardiovascular Services team.

Responsibilities include

• office-based practice
• hospital rounds
• cardiac catheterization and collaboration with interventional/structural cardiology, electrophysiology, advanced heart failure, and cardiothoracic surgery
• non-invasive procedures such as transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, stress testing, nuclear medicine, and vascular ultrasound

The role involves a manageable call schedule, not exceeding 1:5.

Qualifications include fellowship training and board certification/eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease.

Skills required encompass expertise in clinical cardiology, non-invasive diagnostic procedures, and strong collaborative abilities.
