Job summary

A health system in North Carolina seeks a dedicated Cardiologist responsible for diagnosing and treating heart diseases. The ideal candidate will perform patient examinations, study diagnostic images, and make informed treatment recommendations. Successful applicants will maintain a valid Physician's License in North Carolina and should be skilled in peripheral vascular interventions. Job Summary: The Cardiologist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating diseases of the heart and its functions by: examining patient for symptoms indicative of heart disorders using medical instruments and equipment; as well as studying diagnostic images and electrocardiograph recordings to aid in making diagnoses, prescribing medications and recommending dietary and activity programs, as indicated. Ability to perform peripheral vascular intervention is a plus.

Minimum Requirements: Possession and maintenance of a Physician's License from the State of North Carolina and certifications from the DEA. Must be a member in good standing of the Medical Staff of the hospital.
