This is a highly flexible, part-time opportunity designed for a Cardiologist who may already have an established practice, hospital affiliation, or other professional commitments and is interested in adding approximately 4-8 hours of outpatient coverage per week.

The organization is flexible regarding how the weekly hours are structured and is willing to accommodate the physician's existing schedule. Morning availability is preferred.

Position Summary

The Cardiologist will provide outpatient cardiovascular consultations and follow-up care to a predominantly senior patient population.

This is a consultative outpatient role. No cardiology procedures are required, and the position does not require the physician to operate specialized procedural equipment.

The ideal physician is comfortable working with older adults, communicating with Spanish-speaking patients, and collaborating with primary care providers and other members of the clinical team.

  • Provide follow-up care for patients with cardiovascular conditions.
  • Review relevant medical history, diagnostic information, medications, and treatment plans.
  • Provide clinical recommendations to patients and referring providers.

  • Educate patients and families regarding cardiovascular health, medications, risk factors, and recommended follow-up.

  • Experience working with senior, Medicare, geriatric, or medically complex populations is highly valued.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary clinical team.
  • Must maintain appropriate professional liability/malpractice insurance for the 1099 engagement.
Schedule
