Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing seeks a Board Certified Cardiologist for outpatient locum tenens coverage in Las Cruces, NM. The assignment runs ASAP – ongoing, with a Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule in an outpatient setting using the Medhost EMR.

Expect to interpret echocardiograms, perform TEEs as needed, and manage about 15 patients per day with support staff including RNs, MAs, PAs/NPs, and front office.

Qualifications

• Board-certified cardiologist with outpatient clinic experience.
• Licensed in NM or eligible via IMLC; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide general cardiology care in an outpatient clinic.
• Read and interpret echocardiograms; perform TEE as needed.
• Manage a patient load of about 15 patients per day.
• Coordinate care with nursing and mid-level providers.
