A Cardiologist is responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases and disorders of the heart and cardiovascular system. The Cardiologist conducts comprehensive patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, performing physical examinations, and interpreting diagnostic tests such as electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms, stress tests, cardiac imaging, and other cardiovascular procedures. The role includes diagnosing heart diseases, prescribing medications, recommending lifestyle modifications, monitoring patient progress, and managing both acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.
