Job summary

Mercy Medical Group in the Sacramento Region seeks a Board Eligible or Board Certified General Cardiologist to join our large multi-specialty team in Grass Valley, CA. You will deliver high-quality, non-invasive cardiac care with access to EP, Heart Failure, and Interventional subspecialists.

This full-time role includes outpatient care and a 1:4 hospital coverage rotation, with 24/7 hospitalist support. A shareholder track opportunity and a comprehensive benefits package are available.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible cardiologist.
• Fellowship-trained in general cardiology.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in California.
• Not eligible for H1/J1 visa.
• Completion of accredited post-graduate training.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general cardiology care, outpatient and inpatient.
• Participate in a 1:4 call/hospital coverage rotation.
• Collaborate with subspecialists (EP, Heart Failure, Interventional).
• Pursue shareholder track opportunities within the group.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our General Cardiologist Physician , you will join Mercy Medical Group (https://www.commonspirit.org/physician-enterprise/mercy-medical-group) a large, multi-specialty group in the Sacramento Region, comprised of 600+ providers. This outstanding opportunity within a physician-owned and led group allows you to deliver high-quality, non-invasive cardiac care to a diverse patient population, supported by robust clinical infrastructure and collaborative subspecialists in Grass Valley, CA.

You will engage in comprehensive general cardiology practice, managing a wide range of cardiovascular conditions in a full-time capacity. You will collaborate closely with an experienced team of cardiologists, leveraging the readily available expertise of EP, Heart Failure, and Interventional subspecialists for referrals. Your responsibilities will include outpatient care and participation in a 1:4 call/hospital coverage rotation, supported by 24/7 hospitalist services, ensuring continuous, high-quality patient care.

To be successful in this role, you will be a Board Eligible or Board Certified, fellowship-trained General Cardiologist with a passion for exceptional patient care and a collaborative spirit. You should be committed to joining a dynamic, high-performing team and eager to pursue a shareholder track opportunity within a stable, reputable medical group.

Compensation and Benefits:

Job Requirements

Required:

• Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program

• A valid and unrestricted California medical license

• California Fluoro license
