Adventist Health Northwest Heart Center in Portland, OR seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join a growing cardiovascular program. Build a comprehensive adult cardiac surgery practice within a collaborative, physician-led service line serving the greater Portland region.

Candidates may have opportunities in Medical Directorship to shape strategy, quality initiatives and future direction of the program, with a dedicated cardiac OR and regional partnerships.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• Eligible for Oregon medical licensure.
• Eligible for medical staff membership at Adventist Health Northwest Heart Center.

Responsibilities

• Build a comprehensive adult cardiac surgery practice (CABG, valve, aortic).
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary Heart Team.
• Provide clinical leadership and contribute to program growth and quality initiatives.

Adventist Health’s Northwest Heart Center is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our growing cardiovascular program. This is an outstanding opportunity to build a comprehensive adult cardiac surgery practice within a collaborative, physician-led cardiovascular service line serving the greater Portland region.

Candidates interested in Medical Directorship will have the opportunity to provide clinical leadership and help shape the strategic growth, quality initiatives and future direction of the cardiothoracic surgery program.

Opportunity Highlights

• Comprehensive adult cardiac surgery practice including CABG, valve, and aortic surgery performing approx. 200 cases annually.
• Collaborative Structural Heart program performing 120 procedures annually.
• Established multidisciplinary Heart Team with general, interventional, and structural cardiology, electrophysiology, and vascular surgery.
• Dedicated cardiac OR and experienced cardiovascular surgical team
• Universal-bed cardiovascular unit
• Regional referral network with four outreach locations
• ECMO and transplant support through regional partnerships
• PA supported call model
