Job summary

Philips seeks an Intern - R&D NPI Intern, Disposables– San Diego, CA to contribute to the design and development of next generation guidewires and intravascular ultrasound catheters. Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Engineering in progress (Mechanical or Biomedical)
• Proficient in SolidWorks
• Experience with 3D modeling, fixture design, and basic machining
• Experience with bench-top testing
• Experience with statistics (DOE, Gauge R&R, Capability Analysis)
• Familiarity with intravascular clinical workflows preferred

Responsibilities

• Concept generation, modeling, and prototyping
• Bench top test set-up and execution
• Statistical data analysis
• Writing and executing test protocols and reports
