Candler County Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to assist in providing cardiopulmonary care for patients across all ages. The role involves assessment, patient education, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective care.

The successful candidate will hold an accredited respiratory therapy credential, be either an active RRT or registry-eligible with credential within six months, and meet BLS/ACLS requirements.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or registry eligible with RRT credential obtained within six months from hire.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple responsibilities, and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent customer service and basic computer skills.
• Team player with integrity, flexibility and adaptability.

Responsabilités

• Provide cardiopulmonary assessment and patient care for all ages as part of the care team.
• Document patient progress and communicate observations to team members.
• Maintain compliance with policies, infection control, and safety regulations.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and educational workshops.
• Ensure confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Handle high-stress situations professionally and coordinate with physicians and staff.
