Responsibilities

• Passes all medications and hangs IV piggybacks and fluids.
• Charts assessments on assigned patients after the RN has charted the initial assessment.
• Completes dressing changes and provides tracheostomy care as needed.
• Inserts and cares for NG tubes and administers feedings through NG tubes.
