Carle Health in Urbana, IL is seeking a Health Care Technician (HCT) to support licensed nursing staff under the direction of an RN. The HCT provides personal care, collects data, and assists with activities of daily living, documenting observations and helping with transport.

This role requires a HS diploma or GED, BLS within 30 days, CNA coursework or equivalent training, and prior nursing clinical experience.

Formación

• BLS certification within 30 days
• High school diploma or GED is required
• At least one nursing clinical experience; CNA background or training within past 24 months
• Completion of Carle's HCT In Training Program or relevant medical military training

Responsabilidades

• Assists with daily living activities and personal hygiene.
• Collects patient data and ensures accurate documentation.
• Measures vital signs and blood glucose as directed.
• Prepares patients for transport and supports routine care.
• Maintains unit supplies and cleanliness.
• Responds to call lights and supports nursing staff.
