Ascension is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant for the Broken Arrow, OK area. You will support cardio consults by greeting patients, taking vital signs, and assisting clinicians during examinations in a full-time, daytime schedule.

You will document encounters, maintain clean exam rooms, stock supplies, and handle administrative tasks to ensure a smooth patient journey. CMA/RMA certification and BLS are preferred, with education or experience tolerance noted.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent or 1 year of applicable experience.
• Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsabilités

• Deliver personalized patient care by greeting individuals warmly, preparing them for examinations, obtaining accurate vital signs, and assisting providers during clinical treatments.
• Streamline the patient-provider encounter through real-time documentation of symptoms, diagnoses, prescriptions, and order transcriptions to ensure complete, high-quality medical records.
• Optimize exam room readiness by maintaining immaculate care spaces, ensuring essential clinical supplies are fully stocked and accessible for efficient treatments.
• Support seamless clinic operations by handling essential administrative tasks, managing incoming communications, and keeping patient data organized to maintain a stress-free care journey.

Formation

High School diploma or equivalent
