Job summary

Heart One Associates in Peoria, AZ is seeking a full-time Echocardiography/Sonography professional to perform high-quality diagnostic echocardiograms and vascular ultrasounds. You will maintain patient confidentiality, explain procedures, and prepare accurate reports for physicians.

The candidate should have ARDMS/CCI registry, two years of experience, BLS, and proficiency with medical software. Office training and HIPAA compliance are emphasized in this role.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
• Current ARDMS or CCI registry.
• Minimum two years’ experience performing Echocardiograms and/or vascular ultrasounds.
• BLS Certification.
• HIPAA compliant; maintains confidentiality of client information.
• Ability to work independently and with other team members.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment to perform and interpret studies within clinical parameters.
• Explain exams to the patient, answer questions, and prep for the exam.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and document results accurately.
• Complete detailed reports for the physician.
• Attends department meetings and assists in data gathering for accreditation.
• Submit billing for ultrasound studies performed.
