Job summary

Prisma Health in Richland Hospital seeks a Cardiac and Vascular Sonographer to perform most cardiac and vascular ultrasound exams under the direction of the lab manager and medical director. You will provide quality patient care using lab physiology and ultrasound equipment, assist with clinical rotations, and participate in after-hours and on-call services as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or formal sonography program completion.
• One year of cardiac and vascular sonography experience required.
• Clinical rotations may count as related experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform most modalities of echocardiography and vascular studies.
• Review images and paperwork to ensure quality exams.
• Rotate to multiple lab locations and participate in after-hours schedules.
• Operate EMR, PACS, and reporting software; maintain logs.
• Attend meetings and stay current with field developments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
