Job summary

Aspirus St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth, MN seeks a Manager of Nursing Service for the Cardiac Unit. The role leads clinical and administrative operations, ensuring nursing processes are carried out 24/7 and coordinating patient care activities with staff system-wide.

The position requires a Nursing degree with supervisory experience and MN RN licensure, plus strong communication and change-management skills in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent plus supervisory/management experience; or Associate Degree/Diploma plus supervisory/management experience and enrolled in a Bachelor's program within two years.
• Minimum five years nursing experience, two and a half years in acute care.
• Current Minnesota RN license; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and management of assigned unit(s)/department(s).
• Coordinate patient care activities and nursing processes across shifts (24/7).
• Collaborate with staff to meet unit goals, financial performance, patient safety and performance improvements.
