Job summary

Manatee Memorial Hospital is seeking a Charge Nurse in Bradenton, Florida. You will assume shift responsibility for planning and providing nursing care under the Nursing Director, coordinating a multidisciplinary team and guiding staff to meet patient care goals in line with hospital policies.

The role requires an RN licensed in Florida with acute care experience; supervisory experience is preferred and BSN is favorable. BLS/ACLS certifications are required for this position.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program and hold Florida RN licensure.
• Acute care experience is required; supervisory experience preferred.
• BSN is preferred and BLS/ACLS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Charge Nurse assumes shift responsibility and plans/directs nursing care.
• Coordinates multi-disciplinary team and educates staff to ensure quality outcomes.
• Ensures compliance with Manatee Health policies and delivers service excellence.

Education

Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing

Current RN licensure in Florida

Minimum of one year of acute care

Previous supervisory experience preferred

BSN preferred

Current BLS through American Heart Association

Current ACLS through American Heart Association
