Oklahoma Heart Hospital (OHH) in Oklahoma City seeks a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to perform echocardiograms, vascular studies and stress echoes under physician supervision. You will prepare patients, operate ultrasound equipment, and ensure accurate documentation and PACS/Cerner submissions.

Experience with ultrasound imaging, cross-sectional anatomy, and ability to work collaboratively in a heart-centered team is essential.

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved school of Ultrasound.
Current ARDMS or CCI or registry eligible and pass registry within one year of date of hire; and BLS certification.
One year of experience preferred in echo and non-invasive vascular imaging.

Responsabilités

Perform echocardiograms, vascular studies and stress echoes as directed by physicians.
Assist in pulling patients back, preparing patient for ultrasounds and vascular studies.
Schedule PM’s on ultrasound equipment when needed.
Assist in calling service on equipment as needed.
Responsible for completing all paperwork such as daily exam reports and logs.
Prepares room and equipment in advance and ensures that assigned area is kept clean, orderly, and stocked.
Ability to carry and transport portable ultrasound equipment.
Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology to pinpoint area of imaging.
Review patient’s charts and records for completeness prior to clinic visits.
