Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment, perform exams, and contribute to high-quality patient care. The role covers neonatal to geriatric populations, with collaboration across radiology staff.

The ideal candidate graduated from an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography program and holds BCLS certification. No prior experience is required, and the team supports patient-centered imaging services.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required upon hire.
• No prior experience required.

Responsabilités

• Operate ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.
• Provide patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment.
• Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.
• Provide patient care to all age groups including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric.
• Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.
