Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of EKG experience in a hospital or IDTF.
• CCT or CRAT certification required.
• English fluency required; ability to interpret EKG data.

Responsibilities

• Process, analyze, interpret and edit EKG data.
• Recognize abnormal cardiac rhythms and communicate findings to team.
• Document actions taken accurately.
• Build high-quality reports including summaries and ECG strips.
• Verify patient demographics; maintain monthly metrics for quality/productivity.
• Exercise critical thinking and discretion handling patient events.
• Adhere to HIPAA and related policies.
• Communicate clearly with internal and external customers.
