The position is full-time (FTE 0.90) with 12-hour day shifts. Requires HSD or GED, BLS, and preferably 1 year of monitor tech or unit secretary experience. On-site work and hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year monitor technician experience preferred.
• BLS required.

Responsabilités

• Observes patients' cardiac telemetry oximetry and maintains records in EMR.
• Provides patient reports to physicians, nurses, and oncoming staff.
• Notifies nurses immediately of lethal arrhythmias and documents findings.
• Exports and prints 12-lead ECGs per ED staff request.
• Performs cardiac device interrogations per order.
• Ensures proper functioning of the monitor system and reports malfunctions.
