Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a dedicated Monitor Technician to support our cardiac monitoring team. You will observe patient telemetry, interpret rhythms, and escalate any abnormal findings to RNs and clinicians promptly.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of experience as a Monitor Technician, completion of an arrhythmia course, and current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of experience as a Monitor Technician.
• Successful completion of a basic arrhythmia course or equivalent coursework.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Ongoing surveillance of patient cardiac monitors/remote telemetry.
• Provide RN/clinician with immediate notification of rhythm changes.
