Job summary

Catholic Health Services is seeking a Step-Down Cardiac Telemetry RN at Good Samaritan University Hospital in New York. You will assess, monitor and administer medications, documenting progress and managing care for cardiac telemetry patients.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes and advocate for patients and families, offering education and safety interventions to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active NY Registered Nurse license and license in good standing.
• BLS certification required by American Heart Association.
• ACLS and PCCN preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, administer medications, document progress and manage overall care for cardiac telemetry patients.
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs and allied staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Advocate for patients and families, providing education and safety interventions.
