Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure as required by state boards.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, STABLE, C-EFM or other unit-specific certifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for the care of assigned patients.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
