BJC HealthCare is seeking a Cardiac/Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg / Telemetry unit. The role involves direct patient care, planning and implementing care plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes in a busy hospital setting.

The ideal candidate has a Nursing Diploma/Associate's and RN licensure, with preferred BSN and up to 2 years of experience in telemetry or similar units. This is a full-time, on-site position at Christian Hospital.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's in Nursing.
• Licenses: RN.
• Experience: No Experience required.
• Supervisor Experience: No Experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of nursing care.
• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment and educates on illness management and home care needs.
• Participates in patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance and in professional development.
• Develops, implements, and documents plans of care with defined goals and communicates across the care continuum.
• Assesses physical, psychosocial, emotional, spiritual and cultural needs of patients and supports family involvement.
