Job summary

Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C. is looking for a Clinical Nurse II for its 4 North Cardiac / Telemetry unit. This role requires strong nursing skills to provide patient-centered care and monitor adult cardiac patients. The position is full-time with three 12-hour shifts per week and offers a supportive practice environment.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of clinical nursing experience or HUH's Professional Nurses Clinical Advancement Program completion.
• Current, active RN license in DC and BLS certification required.
• Competency in basic dysrhythmia interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Recognize cardiac rhythms and escalate issues to the medical team.
• Administer medications safely and monitor for adverse effects.
