Job summary

The Staff Pad partners with a leading regional healthcare system to recruit Registered Nurses for a high-acuity Cardiac Telemetry Unit in Wausau, Wisconsin. This role focuses on continuous cardiac monitoring and care for complex cardiac, vascular, and pulmonary patients in a collaborative step-down environment.

Ideal candidates will have an Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred), active Wisconsin and/or Michigan RN license, BLS, and ACLS within six months.

Qualifications

• RN licensed with active credentials in Wisconsin and/or Michigan.
• BLS (CPR) certification required; ACLS within six months of hire.
• Strong teamwork and commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for patients on a 44-bed Cardiac Telemetry unit.
• Monitor and respond to patient condition using clinical judgment.
• Care for patients post heart, vascular, and lung procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and evidence-based practice.
• Educate patients and families; document accurately and timely.
