Job summary

The Staff Pad has partnered with a regional healthcare system in Wausau, WI to recruit a Registered Nurse for a high-acuity Cardiac Telemetry unit. Join a team caring for complex cardiac, vascular, and pulmonary patients in a collaborative step-down environment.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate Degree in Nursing with Wisconsin/Michigan RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS within six months. Enjoy a 44-bed unit, 12-hour shifts, and a full-time schedule with flexible weekend/holiday rotation options.

Qualifications

Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
Active Wisconsin and/or Michigan RN license.
Current BLS (CPR) certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
ACLS required within six months of hire.
Strong commitment to teamwork, learning, and exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring in a 44-bed Cardiac Telemetry step-down unit.
Assess, monitor, and respond to changes in patient condition using clinical judgment.
Care for patients recovering from heart, vascular, and lung procedures and surgeries.
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders.
