Job summary

Iredell Health System in Statesville, NC is seeking a full-time RN for the Cardiac Telemetry team. Day shift, 36 hours per week (3 days on, 4 days off) from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, with a sign-on bonus and overtime pay, plus flexible self-scheduling.

The RN provides care coordination, assessment, and planning to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. Requirements: NC RN licensure and BCLS; orientation included; ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse Licensure in North Carolina.
• Certification in BCLS.
• Successful completion of a hospital and unit-specific orientation which includes age and population specific skills for the area of practice in which the RN will be working and addresses the growth and development needs for the patients for whom the RN will be providing nursing care.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse prescribes nursing care, delegates nursing activities, and coordinates the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care to provide optimal quality care, consistent with the hospital’s mission and nursing philosophy, objectives, and standards. Has full access to patient health information.
