Job summary

Overlake Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician (CNA) / Nurse Tech for the Cardiac Stroke/Telemetry unit in Bellevue. This 0.9 FTE daytime role supports a 36-bed unit, including telemetry and post-surgical care, under direct RN supervision.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, charting, and assisting the nursing team on the Progressive Cardiac Unit. Prior CNA/MA-R or NT training is preferred; BLS required, sponsorship available for licensure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program or equivalent nursing training required.
• Nursing Assistant-Certified (NA-C) required.
• Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R) also required (Overlake will sponsor licensure).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• One year recent healthcare experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and hospital equipment helpful.
• English language reading/writing/speaking required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to patients and families under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• On Progressive Cardiac Unit (36-bed) including telemetry and open heart/post vascular surgeries.
