Job summary

Mount Sinai Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse for Cardiac Telemetry on a Full Time Night shift. The Clinical Nurse provides safe, high-quality nursing care following established nursing standards and evidence-based practice.

The Registered Nurse collaborates with the care team to develop, implement and evaluate patient care plans. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, RN license in NY with BSN or ADN, BCLS and ACLS certifications, and preferred cardiac care

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Licensed RN with current registration in the United States.
• BCLS and ACLS certifications.
• Cardiac care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent cardiac telemetry nursing care.
• Assess and plan care using the nursing process and evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and evaluate care plans.
• Educate patients and families about plan of care and transition needs.
• Document care accurately in the medical record and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Support nursing leadership and participate in unit quality improvement.
