Job summary

Kindred Hospital Riverside is a 40-bed long-term acute care hospital offering the same in-depth care you would receive in a traditional hospital, but for an extended recovery period. We partner with your physician and offer 24-hour clinical care seven days a week so you can start your journey to wellness.

Monitors heart rhythm pattern of patients to detect abnormal pattern variances, using telemetry equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Preferred)
• Current BLS certification required; EKG certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry of patients and observe changes in cardiac rhythms.
• Remove and clean telemetry boxes when patient is discharged from telemetry.
• Maintain accurate records of telemetry patients.
• Notify RN or supervisor of rhythm changes.
• Assign transmitters and wires and set up the monitor system for all telemetry ordered patients.
• Troubleshoot transmitters and wires and set up the monitor system for all telemetry ordered patients.
• Stay abreast of federal, state, and local regulations for food safety and sanitation.
